How to change the password on a Windows XP computer?

Hey, I don%26#039;t mean the log in password, but the actual password for when you%26#039;re starting up the computer. My mom put it on there and it%26#039;s just really inconvenient, especially since that%26#039;s where I get nearly all my flute music :/ How do I change it or change it to no password when I don%26#039;t know the current password?

Windows: When you login to your windows account, go to start.control panel. accounts.select the account, and click change password

net user Sanix 12345


It will change the password of the user Sanix to 12345.





4.Using Control userpasswords2

This will open the classic user accounts management window. Select any user and select reset password.





5.Using Computer Management Console


right click My Computer 鈥?gt; Manage 鈥?gt; Local Users And Groups 鈥?gt; Users


Right click the username for which you want to change the password and select Reset Password
