How do u change windows xp to small fonts?
Right click on the desktop, then go to properties, then apperance, and its the font size tab near the bottom.
To change your Window fonts

Open Display in Control Panel.

On the Appearance tab, in Font size, click a new font size.

Notes

To open Display, click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

This option enables you to enlarge the fonts used in window headers, icon labels, and menus. For information about enlarging all items on your screen, click Related Topics.

The font size options are based on the current theme, visual style, and color scheme. For some themes, styles, or schemes, you may only have one font size option.
If you have Windows XP, you can see fonts more clearly on your monitor if you turn on ClearType. ClearType is easy to apply and makes fonts look smoother. If you have a standard CRT monitor you'll see modest improvement, but the real advantage is apparent with color LCD flat screen monitors and LCD screens on mobile PCs like Tablet PCs and laptops.

3 easy steps

1.

Right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose Properties from the menu.

2.

Click the Appearance tab, and then click the Effects button.

3.

Click the check box next to Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts. Click the down arrow and select ClearType from the list.

Click OK, and then click OK again.

That's all there is to making fonts appear more clearly on your monitor.

ClearType simply manipulates the red, green, and blue sub-pixels used to create the fonts that appear on your screen, effectively raising the resolution. This makes text, especially small text, easier for the human eye to read on your screen.
Right-click on blank screen, get Properties, under Appearance tab either select Font size or if you want click Advanced and go through each individual screen element and select an individual font size for it
