How do i change my windows xp file type from fat32 to NTFS without a complete reformat, thanks all for help?

Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command:



C:\%26gt; CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs



Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert.



After machine re-boot conversion process will start and you'll have your FAT32 converted to NTFS without of data loss

Click the Start button and select 'Run...'

Type in cmd.exe and press Enter.

At the command prompt, type:

convert %26lt;FAT32 drive letter%26gt;: /fs:ntfs
