How do i to change back to windows xp?

i have recently bought a laptop with windows vista.i bought a gift for xmas and have only just found out that its compatible with xp.is it possible to change back to xp on the laptop.and how?

If you recently bought it from a major manufacturer you should call them and request that XP be put on it in place of Vista. That way you have no additional expense.



I haven't tweaked down a Vista to look and behave like XP and try a device that will only work with XP. Can't help you there.
