HOW TO CHANGE MY WINDOWS XP FORMAT IMAGE?
Start -%26gt; My Computer -%26gt; Tools menu -%26gt; Folder Options -%26gt; File types tab

Find MP3 in the list, click 'Advanced'

Top right corner, click 'Change Icon...'

An icon being changed usually means the associated application has been changed. You manage this from the same list OR by right clicking an mp3 file and clicking 'Open with...' and 'Choose program...'. In this list select the application you use to open mp3 files and select the checkbox 'Always use this application.'
HOW TO CHANGE MY WINDOWS XP FORMAT IMAGE?
Change the file associations on your PC. To do this, Hold down the Windows key + E at the same time. This will take you directly to the Windows Explorer. Then click on %26quot;Tools%26quot; at the top line menu. Scroll down to %26quot;Folder Options%26quot; and click Folder Options. Click on the %26quot;File Types%26quot; tab (third tab from the left). Scroll down on the %26quot;Registered File Types%26quot; list until you get to %26quot;MP3%26quot;. Click on the %26quot;Change button%26quot; and select %26quot;Windows Media Player%26quot; as the program that opens MP3 files. Click on %26quot;OK%26quot; twice followed by ALT + F4. This should take you back to your desktop and you can see if all the icons that were previously disrupted have returned back to their normal status. Let me know if you have any problems and I will try to walk you through it. Good luck and thanks for asking.
